Polar trekking women talk to radio 4

Pole trekkers are pick of the week

If you missed it on Monday, tomorrow at 4pm (the usually stultifying) Woman's Hour on radio four is re-airing its interview with the two British women who last week became the first women to walk to both poles.

Ann Daniels and Caroline Hamilton had already walked to the South Pole in January 2000. As one is a mother of triplets we can expect lots of questions along the lines of why they decided to undertake such perilous journeys, hopefully they'll be able to knock those for six.

And don't ask what's the point of the sunny photo accompanying this, it's June and there hasn't been nearly enough sun around, ok?
