Yorkshire Gets Its Own Stupa
The remote mountain kingdom of Yorkshire now has its very own Bhutanese stupa, which is in the process of being consecrated by buddhist monks imported direct from Bhutan. Nice :-)

If you always suspected that Yorkshire was a foreign country, then
here's some ammunition for you; it now has its own Himalayan stupa
built by local stonemasons together with a group of monks from
Bhtutan.
Set in the Himalayan Garden at Harewood
House near Leeds, the distinctive bell-shaped structure will be
consecrated today in a series of ceremonies carried out by the monks,
who have never before left the remote Himalayan kingdom of
Bhutan.
You can find the full story on the Guardian
web site, but if you find yourself pining for the Himalaya, you
know where to go.
