A quick heads-up on the
2010
Outdoors Show at the
NEC
in Birmingham which takes place from
26-28 March and
covers walking, climbing, mountain biking, paddling and more.

Big
names fronting up at the show include
Sir Ranulph Fiennes
OBE, fresh from completing his gruelling climb to the summit of Mount
Everest and scheduled share his experiences as a guest speaker.
Top climber
Leo
Houlding's going to be there too talking - right - about
his amazing Asgard Project experiences on Baffin Island, should be well
worth catching him.
Also appearing will be two-time Olympic Rowing Gold Medallist
James Cracknell,
Britain’s top female climber Lucy Creamer, TV Presenters Simon King and
Kate Humble
and adventurer Ben Fogle.
The spectacular
SkyMasters
competition is back show-casing elite climbers as they race
head-to-head on a floating overhanging course set in the rafters of the
NEC.
The Ice Climbing wall returns providing a tough and challenging
opportunity for visitors to prove they have the strength to tackle one
of nature’s most difficult ascents and for those with a real head for
heights, the Outdoors Show has also introduced the
Big Air Abseiling attraction.
New this year is
TriLive,
the only UK triathlon show north of London and including a TriLive
Duathlon.
