Overview: A popular summer tourist haunt,
the Goyt Valley offers a choice of scenic walks in an almost traffic
free environment. This route completes a full circuit of the upper
Errwood reservoir and the headwaters of the River Goyt.
In winter, with the bracken less dominant it makes an ideal
short day when the big hills are too far away, or in summer you can
extend the day by taking in Pym's Chair, Errwood Hall or the Cat and
Fiddle complete with pub stop. [Full route]
